Please join us in commemorating 100 years of education in the heart of Frankford!
Since it's opening in 1923 as H.R. Edmunds, this school building has been a symbol of education, community, and history for the Northwood section of Philadelphia. Generations of school children have walked the halls, played together in the school yard, and attended graduation ceremonies. Now as the Philadelphia Charter School for Arts and Sciences, we are honored to have been chosen in 2012 to continue the story.
On September 30th, we invite everyone to join us as we celebrate our building's 100th anniversary.
We want to thank all of our families, friends, alumni, and neighbors for supporting our school's mission for more than a decade. It is a privilege to be a part of our building's legacy, and we look forward to many more years of service to the community!
